Our selection process for colours and fittings begins earlier than you might expect. We support you to make your choices before you sign the final contract. This does away with any unwanted financial surprises at the end of the project as the quote supplied as part of your contract is based on your selections. In fact, your contract isn’t prepared until you’ve approved your quote and your selections.
How we help
Our consultant will meet with you at our trusted supplier’s showrooms supporting you in selecting the ideal components to compliment your unique home.
After you have confirmed your selections, they are documented into your personal selection schedule to approve & authorise, which we then utilise to order all the colours & products for your home before we commence construction.
Are you able to change your selections?
Yes. As custom builders, we understand that sometimes it is necessary to change your selections during the course of construction.
Will changes be costly?
The costs are determined by the size and type of change you wish to make. Sometimes there are unexpected costs. These can include:
- restocking fees charged by suppliers
- extra pick-up and delivery charges
- administration costs involved with sourcing, pricing, quoting, creating variations and advising onsite installers of changes.
So that construction can proceed as planned, most of the items in your home will be ordered in advance of construction commencing. With some items having 12-week lead times, and others with potential shipping delays, the sooner an item is ordered the more likely the construction stage will stay on schedule.
