Our History
Ashley Lindon’s carpentry apprenticeship commenced in the Toowoomba region working for a combined commercial & residential building company before moving to the Sunshine Coast to complete his apprenticeship on high rise construction. After completing the apprenticeship he set out as a subcontractor with one employee & started working in the mining towns of central Queensland.
Lynn Lindon started her working career in the Blue Mountains having completed full time training at secretarial college & working as a travel consultant.
After meeting, Ashley & Lynn combined forces as a sub contract company constructing homes for other large double story project builders in the 1980’s. You would often see Lynn onsite alongside Ashley with a wheelbarrow or shovel in hand. It wasn’t long before Ashley had proved himself as a very capable builder with a knowledgeable background of experience enabling him to obtain his Registered Builders Licence.
We formed our company then known as Ashley Lindon Homes which established a reputation in the Toowoomba & darling downs region as a quality double story specialist.
Upon relocating to Brisbane, Ashley quickly established himself as a reputable builder in the area of custom home construction.
Trent Lindon joined the family team after 5 years of university. He spent several years Supervising alongside Ashley & working in various parts of the business. Trent carries a dedication, eye for detail & is passionate in the area of building consulting & design. Trent is an asset to the growth & development of the family business.
As the company started to grow in size & reputation it became evident that a new company name was needed. In April of 2011 Lindon Homes Pty Ltd was registered as the new company name.
Since the inception of Lindon Homes the company has continued in growth, quality & expertise in the field of luxury home design & construction. Lindon Homes has received awards and is recognised by building professionals as one of Brisbane’s award winning builders.
