The Residence locates itself on a challenging sloping site in Holland Park. A built-up mid-level podium connects the living spaces, yards and pool, taking full advantage of city views.The basement under partly dug into the site and the staggered upper level housing bedrooms, help proportion the house to the sloping site, and sits very naturally on the street front.

The original house was demolished to make way for this new three level home. The method of construction from the heavy retaining walls and suspended slabs to the lightweight screening and cladding, paired with the selection of differing material externally and internally made for a challenging build, but satisfying result.The top floor of this multi-level home consists of 4 bedrooms, with a rumpus and balcony. With all three levels accessed by lift or stairs. The master bedroom definitely capturing the greatest of those city views!
